What fun our Doolies at rest had this last weekend. First Class Cadets were gone celebrating! It is tradition for the C4Cs to decorate the rooms according to the interests and background of their firstie. Firsties supply use of their cars and donate some $ to the C4Cs so they can get supplies. C4Cs have quite the party while decorating and could travel between squads for the very first time over the weekend.
100th Night for the First Class Cadets takes place approximately 100 nights before graduation. It is an opportunity for the First Class Cadets to join with the Legacy Class to celebrate 100 days until graduation and their commissioning as Second Lieutenants in the United States Airforce. Cadets also receive their base assignments and are given liberty for the weekend to celebrate.

In just a few more weeks, our Doolies will reach their FIRST Milestone; RECOGNITION.
Recognition marks the transition of the Fourth Class Cadets to upper class status. Recognition will take place March 10-12, 2016, and consists of wing and squadron-run training, challenge courses and events, speakers and “Prop and Wing” ceremonies, concluding with a celebratory dinner Saturday evening.
Parents do NOT attend Recognition Events, but traditionally congratulate the Fourth Class Cadets on their achievement in some way. The Spirit Mission Parent Committee will be providing a commemorative gift to all 4th class cadets as well as recognize them wing-wide.
The 2019 Spirit Mission was founded by parents, volunteers, to help commemorate the Milestone events in each of our Cadet’s lives. We will continue to raise funds for each of their six Milestone events at USAFA. You can still donate by check or PayPal (see link below). We also belong to Amazon Marketplace. By using this link, Amazon donates 6-12% of your purchase back to our organization! http://www.amazon.com/ref=as_li_ss_sm_fb_us_ndp_tl?_encoding=UTF8&camp=213733&creative=399841&linkCode=shr&tag=usafa2019spiritmission-20&linkId=JHFCWWQZSZQVVVIL
